Data Analyst | Entry Level (Remote)

Job Description

We are seeking a talented and self-motivated Junior Data Analyst to join our team remotely. As a Junior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing large datasets and creating reports that provide insights into business operations. This is a full-time position open to candidates based in the Canada.

Responsibilities:

Analyze large datasets and create reports that provide insights into business operations

Assist in the development and maintenance of databases

Collaborate with team members to design and implement data visualization solutions

Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify trends and patterns

Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data analysis

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related field

1+ years of experience in data analysis or a related field

Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases

Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI

Experience with Excel and statistical analysis tools

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

Experience with Python, R or other programming languages

Familiarity with machine learning and statistical modeling techniques

Understanding of data privacy and security best practices

Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools
